Reducing Screen Downtime on the Casino Floor: A Checklist for Operators

A dark machine is lost revenue. For operators and machine owners, screen reliability is one of the few technical decisions that directly affects the floor’s earning power. Here is what to specify, check and keep on hand to minimise downtime.

1. Specify for the environment, not just the game

  • Humidity and cleaning: casino floors are cleaned frequently and some sites are coastal or on ships. Specify screens that have passed salt spray testing (our 43″ curved display passed a 48-hour test).
  • Ambient light: if the machine sits near windows or under strong lighting, specify a 500-nit model rather than 300 nits.
  • Continuous duty: machines run 24/7 — ask for the aging/function test performed before packing.

2. Buy the mechanical details correctly the first time

  • Confirm the mounting hole pattern and bracket type against your cabinet.
  • Check connector orientation and cable length — most field failures are installation-related.
  • For touch cabinets, verify the USB touch interface is supported by your game platform.

3. Insist on transport protection

Random vibration and drop testing of both product and packaging (GB/T 2423.56 in our case) exists precisely because screens are damaged in transit. Ask for the report, and keep the factory packaging for future moves.

4. Plan spare capacity

  • Keep 1–2 spare screens per model type on site — swap first, repair later.
  • Standardise on fewer screen variants so spares cover more machines.
  • Record the exact specification (size, curve, radius, resolution, touch, interface) for every machine type, so reorders match.

5. Buy from a supplier who documents what they ship

Ask for the test reports (salt spray, vibration, drop, safety, photobiological safety), the warranty terms (ours is 3 years) and a clear statement of who manufactures and who is legally responsible for the order. With our structure, the manufacturer issues the contract and Proforma Invoice directly and handles production, quality, export and after-sales — you deal with one English-speaking contact for coordination.

6. Keep a specification sheet per machine type

Use our screen specification checklist to record each machine type once. When a replacement is needed, ordering takes minutes instead of days of back-and-forth.

Tell us your machine types and quantities — we will map them to the right series, provide test documents and quote factory-direct within 24 hours.

Field-proven series

Every series is quoting-based: send your size, curve, brightness and touch requirement through the inquiry form and you get a factory-direct quotation with the specification confirmed line by line.
